Home/Activism, Events/Event: Minnesota Atheists Regional Conference Saturday, August 10

Join the Minnesota Atheists Saturday, August 10, as they, along with the American Atheists, host their annual conference. This year at the Ramada Plaza in Minneapolis.

The leadership from the Freedom From Religion Foundation (Annie Laurie Gaylor) and American Atheists (Amanda Knief) are headline speakers, along with Greta Christina, Hector Avalos, PZ Myers, and more. There will be panel discussions, book signings, a silent auction, and a good variety of morning workshops.

Lunch and dinner, where attendees will have the opportunity to sit and eat with presenters, is available.

The full package (admission, lunch, and dinner) is only $60 until July 31, after which the prices will go up. Minnesota Atheists members receive a 10 percent discount.

Not only a wonderful conference, they will be sponsoring a St. Paul Saints baseball game at Midway Stadium. For one night, Friday, August 9, they’ll be renamed the Mr. Paul Aints. They’ll be playing against the Sioux City Explorers. Tailgating starts at 5pm; the game begins at 7pm. Discount tickets are available through the link.
