Now enjoying its third year, Minnesotans United is having a Big Gay Race.
The date, September 28. The time, 10:00 am. This year the crowds are expected to be even larger to celebrate Minnesota’s not only defeating an amendment vote to prohibit marriage equality (Boo!) but also became the 12th state to make marriage equality happen. (Yeah!) I for one will be sporting my rainbow socks! (and probably a tutu and tiara)
The race course is spectacular, starting on St. Anthony Main Street and over the Stone Arch Bridge with views of the Mississippi River and downtown Minneapolis to top it all off.
It’s not too late to register early and there will be registration the day of the event from 7:00-9:00 am.
Proceeds from the Big Gay Race 2013 will go to support the efforts of the MN United PAC.
