Come partake in our long tradition of helping beautify our highways while getting some atheist recognition in the form of road signs informing motorists that this stretch of highway is maintained by Minnesota Atheists!
We will start the cleanup at the OLD Creamery Cafe in Rice (405 Main Street), just west of the stoplight on highway 10. Cleanup will take roughly two hours and for those who are interested, we will meet for lunch at the OLD Creamery Cafe when we’re finished. St. Cloud’s Central Minnesota Freethinkers (cmfreethinkers.org) will be pitching in on this one with us, so come out and meet our godless neighbors to the north!
Dress for outside weather conditions with sturdy shoes and work gloves. The latest in highway vest fashion will be supplied. If there is rain we will still meet and discuss, and plan the next date. We have been doing this cleanup for several years, and have had a large enough crew to complete this in about two hours.
For those coming from the Twin Cities, we can car pool. Please let us know in your RSVP if you would like a ride and we’ll message you from there.
